An entertaining outsider shared how to make a picnic meal of baked Fromager d’Affinois cheese with lemon and thyme that’s deliciously decadent with every bite

For the dish, she sets her oven to 200 degrees Celsius and places a two-kilogram loaf of Fromager d’Affinois Excellence triple cream cheese on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

The dish’s mystery lies behind the quality of the cheese, which typically retails for $120, but Chyka insists its delicious flavor is worth the cost.

Once the cheese is on the laid out tray, she tops it with the zest of a lemon, ¼ cup fresh thyme, and a tablespoon of olive oil.

Chyka bakes the cheese in the oven for 10 minutes, then packs it in an insulated container with the parchment paper to take to her picnic.

To serve, she adds fresh thyme and lemon wedges on top, while flatbread or crackers surround the bottom.

The cheese not only smells fantastic, it looks fantastic and can be served with bread, meat, vegetables and dips.
