WhatsApp has reportedly started rolling out a new beta update for iOS users. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta program, bringing the version to 3/22/75. The report goes on to mention that the latest beta update includes a reference to a new feature that will allow users to share media as their own Whatsapp status and with individual chats or groups in a single window. If you currently want to share a single media file on your status and with multiple chats, you must do so separately.
According to the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, with the future updates, iOS users will be able to see a redesigned subtitle view with additional features. The report suggests that users can select the options they want to share the media with when they tap the camera icon in a chat, group, or status section. Users can also see the choices under the Caption section. As the feature is under development, it is not yet known when the feature will be available.
WhatsApp is also reportedly working on a feature that will make it easier for you to manage multiple groups. According to a previous report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will display a new introductory page when the community feature is first rolled out.
The screenshots show that this feature allows you to add the groups you manage under one roof for easy access. Screenshots also suggest that you can send a message to all your groups at once. A similar hidden clue was also spotted on the beta update released for iOS smartphones a few weeks ago. For those who don’t know, the Facebook-owned messaging platform has been working on a community feature for a while.
