A PS5 version of Cyberpunk 2077 may be on the way.
While it’s just a rumor at the moment, sparked by an early sighting of the game in PlayStation’s store database, the Twitter account believes PlayStation Game Size – which routinely and accurately gives us early information on file sizes and release dates upcoming title delivers – the PS5 version of the game will be released “mid-February to early March”.
It aligns with the CD Projekt Red release window informed us in October. If true, however, Cyberpunk 2077 will face stiff competition from the likes of Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West, both of which are dropping around the same time.

ICYMI, Cyberpunk 2077’s standing on Steam has recently improved – It now has a “very positive” user rating and is one of the best-selling games on the platform.
As Wes suspected at the time, Cyberpunk 2077 suffered a disastrous start and caused developer CD Projekt serious reputational damage from which it has yet to recover. it went so bad CD Projekt has changed the way it works to develop several AAA games and expansions in parallel and only start promoting his creations much closer to the release.
