KPK names former Director General of Interior Ministry and Regent of East Kolkata as suspect of bribery of PEN funds – Archyde

The Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK) has named former Interior Ministry Director General for Regional Finance (Dirjen Keuda Kemendagri) Ardian Noervianto as a suspect in the case. Bribes related to the application for the National Economic Recovery (PEN) Fund. Also, the Regent of East Kolaka (Kotim) Andi Merya Nur was trapped as a suspect.

“The alleged crime of accepting gifts or promises related to the filing of regional funds for national economic development (PEN) for East Kolaka Regency (Kotim) in 2021,” KPK Deputy Enforcement Officer Karyoto said at a press conference at KPK, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday (2022-01-27).

In this case, 3 suspects are charged. Here are the names:

1. Andi Merya Nur (AMN), Regent of East Kolaka 2021-2026
2. M Ardian Noervianto (MAN), Director General for Regional Financial Development at the Ministry of the Interior for the period July 2020 to November 2021
3. Laode M. Syukur Akbar (LMSA), Head of Muna District Environmental Service

This case is the development of a Handarrest Operation (OTT) against Andi Merya Nur as Regent of Kotim. Andi Merya was previously charged with a bribery case in connection with a consultancy package for two bridge projects and consultancy services for planning the construction of 100 homes for the East Kalimantan Regency government for fiscal year 2021.

At that time, Andi Merya was arrested along with the head of the BPBD Anzarullah. He was tried on January 25, 2022 in Kendari District Court (PN). Now he is charged with a new case at the KPK.
