HYDERABAD: Met officials say mercury levels in the state are likely to fall over the next few days. The temperature in the city is expected to drop below 15 degrees Celsius over the next five days, while mercury levels in northern Telangana’s Adilabad, Nirmal, Komaram Bheem and Mancherial districts are later likely to show minimum temperatures of between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius become week.
On Monday and Tuesday, parts of Ramachandrapuram, Serilingampally, Bandlaguda, Chandanagar and Rajendranagar are likely to experience temperatures between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius, while the rest of the city is likely to see temperatures between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius, according to the Telangana State Development and Planning Society .
Forecasts suggest that temperatures in Rangareddy district will reach between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius by Thursday, while neighboring districts — Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Sangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Vikarabad — are likely to reach similar levels over the next day or two . Low minimum temperatures in the range of 10 to 15 degrees are also expected in the Jagtial and Rajanna Sircilla districts over the next four days.
Overall, low temperatures are likely to be recorded in the districts of Adilabad Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial and Jayashankar Bhupalapally in north Telangana for the next few days.
