Last call for Cork Lotto players to claim tens of thousands after buying a winning ticket in October – Archyde

The National Lottery has made a final plea for a player who bought a lucky lottery ticket in Cork in October as the bettor has just days to claim his money.

A ticket purchased in Cork on draw day, Saturday 30th October 2021, netted a handy €23,367 in the lottery draw.

The player has yet to come forward, although the National Lottery has asked the ticket holder to get in touch on several occasions.

Ticket was purchased at Anglands Service Station, Dromagh, Mallow.

A National Lottery spokesman has appealed to lottery players in Cork to carefully check their old tickets from October to ensure they don’t miss out on winning the Lotto Match 5 prize.

And the Cork player isn’t the only one taking time to get in touch.

Two other players in Limerick and Mayo will miss out on their sums, each over €20,000, if they don’t act quickly.

Lotto said the three players “only have days left to claim their Match 5 winnings.

“Review old tickets immediately as the last claim date is Friday January 28th.”

“If you are one of these three lucky winners we advise you to sign the back of your ticket and urgently contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] We can then make arrangements for you to claim your prize.”

Meanwhile, after the huge €19m Must-Win Mega Draw over the weekend, A Cork player missed the jackpot by just one number.

A customer of Lee’s Centra on Main Street in Charleville was nearly €40,000 richer after Saturday’s drawing featured 5 matching numbers and the bonus ball on his ticket.
