Ex-Emmerdale star Danny Miller shares new project after soap opera exit

former Emmerdale Star Danny Miller has revealed his first project since leaving the ITV soap as Aaron Dingle.

Damage – whose final scenes aired in December – has decided to move from one small screen to another, with the actor announcing the creation of a new YouTube channel.

Confirmation of the upcoming launch of We are the millers Earlier this week, Danny revealed that he and his fiancée, Steph Jones, her son Albert, and her dogs Gini and Kenny will appear in a weekly vlog.

Alongside an introductory video, the Miller family said they hope to share their life with fans as they plan their wedding and learn British Sign Language.

“This is all new to me and Danny. We’ve never blogged before so please bear with us,” Steph told her new subscribers.

“We want to make this site as good as possible, but of course we’re going to expand our skills in terms of editing our videos and making them much better.”

In addition to offering the fans a glimpse into their “everyday life”, the We are the millers The channel will follow the family as they take signing lessons.

“I hope you enjoy it, because joking aside, it’s important to us because we want to cover a lot of the deaf signing that we’ve learned courtesy of TinyTalk,” explained Danny.

“Albie is not hard of hearing, but it’s something we wanted to do to give him the best chance of a start in life and to be able to communicate with everyone.”

Danny’s new project comes just a few months after the fan favorite decided to say goodbye to him Emmerdale.

Candid about his decision to leave the soap, Danny — whoever won the latest series of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! – stated that he wanted “open a new chapter“.

“I’ve been there 13 years, I’ve had a little break, but 13 years ago I started as Aaron,” he said. “I grew up with him and I feel very protective of him and I think it was time for him to start a new life.”

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with an additional episode on Thursdays at 8pm.
