Lincoln Grand Cinema offers movie option only in Vaccine | KLIN – Post World

Marcus Theaters is offering a showtime option with mandatory vaccinations at the Lincoln Grand Cinema.

Clint Wisialowski, senior vice president of sales and business development at Marcus Theaters, tells KLIN News the new option will begin on Friday. Vaccine-only shows will be available on two titles daily. If you purchase your tickets on their website, the options for viewing only one vaccination are clearly marked.

Wisialowski says the doors at Marcus Theaters are open to everyone, vaccinated or not. He says for those who aren’t vaccinated, “Go to the app. Go to the site. Visit our box office and select the next available showtime which we have intentionally scheduled very close to the vaccine showtime so you have a choice too. We value every guest who enters the building and every guest opinion counts.”

Marcus Theaters began testing vaccine screenings last November. Wisialowski says: “As we went through this, we noticed that first people were asking about it and second they were talking to their wallets. There were people who hadn’t visited us for 18 months or more. We had to find out why. This was one of the tests we implemented to find out. Suddenly we got guests who hadn’t been there for 18 months. We listened.” He says they were very pleased with the response.

Guests attending only the vaccination demonstration will be asked to present their vaccination card or photo and ID.

This week’s vaccinated shows are Scream and Redeeming Love. Wisialowski says features and show times will change each week.
