COVID: Mexico adds 44 thousand 293 cases, the highest number of the pandemic


The Ministry of Health reported that Mexico registered this Friday 44 thousand 293 new infections of COVID-19 for a total of four million 302 thousand 069 cases, plus 195 deaths to reach 301 thousand 107 total deaths.

The more than 44 thousand infections represent the highest number of cases, in addition to the fact that on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 33 thousand 626, 44 thousand 187 and 43 thousand 523 cases were reported, respectively.

Of the number of confirmed cases, there are 301 thousand 107 assets, who have presented symptoms during the last 14 days and account for 6.4% of the total. Furthermore, since the start of the pandemic Three million 396 thousand 946 people have recovered.

The average occupancy of general beds stands at 28% and the use of intensive care beds at 16%.

VACCINATION PLAN

The authorities also indicated that within the vaccination program 154.61 million doses have been administered, adding 937 thousand 885 during the last day.

Of its 126 million inhabitants, 82.73 million in the country have at least one dose of the vaccine. Meanwhile, 75.06 million have completed their vaccination schedule.
