Craig (Colson Smith) and his fellow police officers are recently investigating the death of Ted, who died shortly after the Faye Windass robbery.
After the traffic accident, Faye (Ellie Leach) and Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) accompanied Ted to his apartment to make sure he was okay.
Ted seemed fine at the time, but when the friends returned later, he had died in his chair in the apartment.

Later that week, Craig reported to Roy Cropper (David Neilson) about the crutch and mentioned the initials on it – THS.
Roy suggests the crutch could be owned by Trafford Health Services.
Shortly thereafter, Craig did some research on the Internet and verified that the crutch was indeed from Trafford Health Services.
