A crash under a different name: Bitcoin down 40% since November – archyde

They say that something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay. For holders of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and digital assets, this increasingly seems to be the reality.

Bitcoin has lost more than 40% of its value since hitting a high of $ 67,553.95 on November 8th. On Monday it briefly fell below $ 40,000, its lowest level since September.

It rebounded in early Tuesday trading, to be hovering around $ 41,868. For the week, Bitcoin is down more than 9%, while Ethereum, the second largest digital token in the world, is down more than 18%.
