Some brides can make a dramatic hairstyle change after their wedding, but Vora Quinn went a step further and did it as a surprise for her husband, Justice Quinn on their big day.
In November, Vora shared a TikTok video It reveals the moment she surprises Justice after cutting her hair for the first time in 14 years. The clip went viral and had over 5.4 million views at the time of writing.
“I had talked about doing it for a while, but I had always dreamed of having my long hair for my wedding,” Vora told Insider. “As the wedding day approached and we decided to run away, I thought how crazy it would be if I cut my hair and surprise him.”
Vora wore her hair long for the ceremony, then told Justice that she needed time to prepare for her next photo session. It was in this two-hour window that she secretly went to her hairdressing appointment and had her hair cut to the shoulder.
“The excitement of actually doing it that day and surprising him took away the fear I was having,” she said. “I always thought I was going to cry and I haven’t cried at all. I couldn’t have had fewer tears in my eyes. In the end it was just the perfect part of our day. “
Vora said Justice didn’t notice anything else on her hair when they first met for photos after the ceremony.
“Then he looks up at me and it clicked, my hair cut and he was in shock. He couldn’t even speak, ”she said. “I was so dizzy and squeaked because I was never this excited.”
“I already loved my haircut and then seeing his reaction made me even more excited,” added Vora. “His reaction was definitely better than I could ever have imagined.”
Vora and Justice’s escape turned into a multi-day celebration that included a private dinner and house party.
The bridal couple had several outfit changes during the week. Vora provided them with accessories for the ceremony and the photo session Alyssa Kristin Camila dress in different ways. After the session was over, she changed into a baby doll dress for her solo dinner with Justice.
A week later, she ended her wedding celebrations in a two-piece outfit for the couple’s house party with closest friends and family. Justice wore all black for the event.
“I picked a dress that I thought was easy enough to change,” said Vora. “I just looked at a lot of looks and in the end I realized that I had changed eight times. It was so much fun.”
