Irish Rail services between Drogheda and Connolly suspended due to a “tragic incident” on the railway – archyde

Irish Rail suspended its connections between Connolly and Drogheda following a “tragic incident” on one of the lines.

At 2:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, the public was alerted about the incident.

Rescue workers remain on site in Donabate.

An Irish Rail spokesman said “northern commuter / corporate services between Drogheda and Connolly will be suspended until further notice. Emergency services deal with a serious incident on the route.

“Company is expected to work with Connolly – Drogheda bus transfers. Company expected to work with Connolly – Drogheda bus transfers ”
