Beijing Olympics – city dwellers are not allowed to help cars in an accident – archyde

The Beijing City Traffic Management Bureau said residents who were involved in an accident with one of the vehicles with athletes, coaches and officials should not ask drivers and passengers to get out but wait for “professionals” to arrive at the scene.

“In order to effectively prevent pandemic risks, foreign personnel associated with the Olympics and related internal security guards are going through a full process, a fully closed point control,” said local police.

Local authorities also urged residents to avoid cars with Olympic logos and to keep their distance in the event of a traffic accident.
