Philippines tighten coronavirus restrictions after domestic Omicron detection – archyde

MANILA, Dec. 31 (Reuters) – The Philippines will impose stricter restrictions on coronavirus January 3-15 after the confirmation of three domestic cases of the Omicron variant, the acting president’s spokesman said Friday.

“We could see an increase in active cases in the coming days,” said Karlo Nograles.
