A woman was arrested after admitting that she had coca-powered sex with a dog and that she had pictures of the “disgusting” incident.
Claire Goodier, of Northwich, Cheshire, has been described by a probation officer as “manipulative” and “fraudulent”.
She and other adults took part in the disgusting act Judge Steven Everett described as “despicable”, “gross” and “depraved” when he jailed her for 20 months.
The 60-year-old has been convicted twice for possessing indecent pictures of children, but has only now been sent to jail.
The previous convictions are from 2006 and 2009, and the judge said she was “amazingly lucky” to avoid previous prison sentences after receiving suspended sentences.
Prosecutor Paulinus Barnes said police called her home on July 19, 2019 for a routine check because she is on the sex offender registry for life.
The officers took away a laptop that had evidence that Goodier had searched the internet for brutal content.
When a full equipment analysis was completed about two years later, it was found that hidden folders contained 31 indecent pictures of Goodier participating in a sex act with an Alsatian breed of dog.
Mr. Barnes said: “She admitted ownership of the pictures.
“She said she had fantasized about it for a number of years and after talking to people in Northwich she was put in touch with others in Bournemouth.
“She traveled down there in December 2018 and participated in the sex act with other people and the Alsatian dog.”
When she was arrested on June 17 this year, the police found another USB stick with the same pictures and 3.5 grams of cocaine in her handbag.
When she committed the sexual act between December 15 and 16, 2018, Goodier had also breached a suspended sentence imposed in May of that year for failing to comply with a sexual harm prevention order.
Simon Mills, who defended himself, said his client had always been “open and honest” with the probation service and urged the judge to consider another suspended sentence even though he had spoiled and disgustedly accepted the behavior.
He said, “This incident happened about three years ago.
“The picture is now one of sporadic insults.
“This is not a case where the crimes are becoming more serious.
“She will do whatever the court tells her to do, and there are preliminary signs of improvement in her attitude and approach.”
Goodier also failed to abide by the terms of the Sexual Harm Prevention Order in November last year when she reported to police 13 days late after being in isolation due to Covid guidelines.
Judge Everett told Goodier he was okay with the probation service’s assessment that she had a low risk of relapse when he sent her to jail.
He said to her, “You are far, far from changing your life.
“You have fraudulently participated in a coca-fueled incident with someone else.
“Since the horrific act, you have shamelessly kept the pictures for your own sexual satisfaction.
“In the midst of all this, you failed to meet the terms of an order in what some might call a minor breach, but it’s not the first time.
“Your record is terrifying and it can be said that you have been amazingly lucky not to go to jail early.
“A message needs to be spread that if you commit such disgusting behavior, you must go to jail.”
Goodier sobbed in the dock when she was tried in Chester Crown Court on December 22nd and the judge sentenced her to 20 months in prison.
This also included activating the four-month prison sentence that she had suspended when she committed the crime.
