Vitamin D is an essential fat-soluble vitamin that is easily found in food or produced in the body. A lack of vitamin D can affect the functioning of the body muscles and has also been linked to risk factors such as muscle pain, weakness, bone density, rickets (in children), and other related conditions. Since vitamin deficiencies can be common, it is important to maintain high levels of vitamin D, which will help beyond bone health.   • Eggs are a good source of vitamin D and most of their vitamins are in the yellow part (egg yolk).
  • Cow’s milk, soy milk or orange juice are rich in vitamins and minerals and a great alternative for vegans
  • Seafood like oily fish, tuna, and salmon are high in vitamin D. enriched
  • Dairy products like cheese, milk, tofu, yogurt, eggs are good sources of vitamin D

Eating adequate vitamin D through a healthy diet is the easiest way to combat vitamin deficiencies and other body diseases. Spending time outside in the sun without sunscreen also helps the body get enough vitamin D that the body needs.
