JACKSONVILLE, Florida. – A Jacksonville woman faces serious charges after MPs said she poisoned her boyfriend earlier this month for talking too much.
Alvis Parrish, 54, put a drug called Seroquel in the victim’s lemonade, according to an arrest report from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
When MPs arrived, they said the victim was extremely lethargic. They say Parrish confessed to putting something in his drink.
“I gave him just enough to silence him and called you all to keep him from dying,” Parrish said, according to MPs.
The MPs said she yelled, “Do whatever you want, if you don’t take me, I’ll kill him” as they handcuffed her and escorted her to her vehicle.
Parrish is charged with poisoning food or water in order to kill or injure a person.
It is held on a $ 50,000 bond.
