Unfortunately, 11 more Covid-related deaths were confirmed for the second day in a row. All of the fatalities were 40 years or older, and two of the dead were fully vaccinated. The total death toll since the pandemic began is now 4,430.
Thursday’s data shows 523 patients are being hospitalized, with 95 exhibiting severe symptoms.
On December 16, there were 1,295 first vaccinations, 978 second vaccinations and 7,574 third booster vaccinations in Latvia. So far, 1,298,344 people in Latvia have received at least one vaccination, according to the National Health Service.
