Klay Thompson congratulates Steph Curry on NBA 3-point record – archyde

Many players across the NBA have congratulated Warriors superstar Steph Curry for breaking Ray Allen’s 3-point all-time record at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.

By hitting two 3s in the first quarter of the 105-96 Victory of the Warriors Curry wasted no time on the New York Knicks break the record. The rest of the night Congratulatory messages have been posted from players from across the NBA and sports world.

Fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson congratulated Steph on Wednesday evening.

Thompson, the other half of arguably the greatest shooting duo of all time, knows a thing or two about 3-point shooting. Thompson and Curry hold both the 3-point record in a single game (14) and the record for most 3-players in a 5-game series (28) and are both productive from beyond the bow.

After missing the last two seasons with knee and Achilles injuries, Thompson is on the verge of getting back on the field and joining Curry as one of the league’s elite shooters.

When he returns what could happen in the next week or two, Thompson will certainly be ready to give his teammate a run for his money.
