Eight people were arrested in Barneveld in May for violence against riot police | Domestic – to the world

The suspects were arrested on the basis of camera images and clues that were received at the end of October after Opsporing Verzocht was broadcast. The eight suspects come from across the country. They are a 46-year-old and 62-year-old man from Utrecht, a 35-year-old from Amsterdam, a 32-year-old man from IJmuiden, a 51-year-old man from Delft, a 53-year-old man from Spijkenisse, a 42-year-old Man from Leeuwarden and a 27 year old man from Heerlen. The police are not ruling out further arrests.

According to the organization, the Police for Freedom demonstration attracted around 1,000 demonstrators. Mayor Jan Luteijn of the village of Gelderland was attacked by the demonstration and issued an emergency order. Most of the demonstrators left, but 80 to 100 demonstrators sought confrontation with the police. No arrests were made on site.
