Maven says he spoke to Triple H about the pre-COVID-19 announcement – archyde

Former WWE wrestler Maven recently announced that he had traveled to Orlando prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and met with Triple H, possibly to do some announcement work.

Maven revealed it in an interview with The ’90s wrestling podcast (h/T f4wonline).

“Before the world was closed, before the pandemic, I actually went to Orlando and met with Hunter, with Albert, who is now in charge of development there. I talked to them about maybe making some announcements, ”Maven said. “I was there on March 11th, 2020, and if you remember, in America that was the day everything was closed. I never want to turn my back or say that it will never happen because I don’t know. I still have and always will have wrestling in my blood.

“I still have wrestling dreams every week. I still have a dream that I either put my boots on or stand in the ring or get ready to wrestle with someone. My love for business will never stop. I keep telling people that WWE is like the girl who broke up with me, but I wasn’t done yet. It’s hard to see She has moved on and is now seeing a better looking guy. I would definitely consider any opportunity to get back into wrestling in some form, so my return to the ring is just a light scratch at that itch. “

On July 5, 2005, he was released from his contract with WWE.

As mentioned, Maven recently came out of retirement. The Tough Enough winner was part of the Independent Superstars of Professional Wrestling’s ISPW Championship Rumble Match.

Before the event on November 19, his last pro wrestling match was in 2016.
