JAKARTA – Ethnic group Health department Süd-Jakarta recorded that around 12,000 other residents in South Jakarta were affected HIV / AIDS. The data was now recorded from 2015 to 2021. This number continues to grow with the free lifestyle of the capital’s citizens.

The head of the South Jakarta health department said the fast-track cascade is cumulative data from the start of the HIV program until today (2015-2021). This condition is very worrying as infected people show an increase.

During those six years, Helmy did not explain in detail whether it had increased or decreased each year. However, the South Jakarta Health Sub-Dept. said 40 percent of people living with HIV received antiretroviral (ARV) drug therapy.

“Of that number, only 40 percent of people with HIV have received ARV therapy and only 22 percent of people with HIV have suppressed their virus,” he said. The South Jakarta Health Division also made efforts to protect South Jakarta residents from the disease, although this was not explained in detail.
