Doctors and nurses at Angeles City Government Hospital receive booster injections against COVID-19 – archyde

ANGELES CITY – At least 92 doctors, nurses and medical technicians at the city government owned Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (formerly known as Ning Angeles Ospital) received their booster vaccinations against COVID-19 on Thursday.

In a statement, Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said giving booster injections would provide adequate protection to medical front liners.

The city government said recipients of the booster were fully vaccinated in March and April.

Irish Calaguas, Lazatin’s chief advisor and main implementer of the city’s vaccination programs, said booster vaccinations for the other medical frontliners will come on schedule.

On Friday, a city mobile bus clinic was dispatched to Sapangbato for the second dose from 47 villagers, including Aetas. INQ
