Beatles Actor for ‘Midas Man’ Reveals First Look Images – Deadline – After the World

The actors who portray the Fab Four were revealed for the Beatles executive film Midas Man.

Jona Lees (The letter for the king) spielt John Lennon, Blake Richardson (Eleven days) werden Paul McCartney, Leo Harvey Elledge (Creation stories) is George Harrison, and newcomer Campbell Wallace will play Ringo Starr. Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (The Queen’s Gambit) stars Beatles manager Brian Epstein, Emily Watson is Epstein’s mother, Malka “Queenie” Epstein, Eddie Marsan plays Brian’s father and successful businessman Harry, Omari Douglas is Lonnie Trimble, Epstein’s trusted confidante, and Rosie Day plays Merseybeat star Cilla black. The other leading actors include Lukas Gage (Love, Viktor) als Tex Ellington und Charley Palmer Rothwell (Jack Ryan) than the Beatles’ record producer, George Martin.

Midas Man, currently in production, shows Epstein’s role in the creative explosion of the 1960s and his considerable influence on pop music.

As we revealed last week, the project is back in production after an enforced hiatus while producers looked for a replacement for director Jonas Akerlund. Sara Zuckermann (Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen) is new on board to steer.

Filming began in Liverpool last month but has been put on hold for three weeks. Filming will be relocated to the United States early next year.

Midas Man is produced by StudioPow and Trevor Beattie Films. Twickenham Studios Chairwoman Sunny Vohra and former Lionsgate UK President Nicola Pearcey are among the executive producers. It is created in collaboration with Er Dong Pictures, who are to distribute the film in China. Mister Smith takes care of world sales and has done a handful of international deals. The original script is based on a script story by Brigit Grant and was written by Jonathan Wakeham.
