Twitter has updated its iOS app to avoid annoying situations where tweets disappear when you try to read them Company announced. “Now if you stop scrolling the timeline to view a tweet, it should stay!” the company tweeted.
The iOS updates follow similar improvements made to the web version of Twitter last week. Twitter explained that adding replies to an ongoing conversation can make tweets disappear as this would push existing tweets up the timeline. “We know it’s a frustrating experience so we’re working to change it,” the company said said in September.

The changes came during an unusually busy year for Twitter, with major new features being added almost monthly. Earlier this month, a new round of popular articles was added for subscribers to Twitter Blue, a paid service that just launched this June. Other key new features that were widely released this year include Super Follows, Spaces, and a new button to make it easier to subscribe to newsletters.
