Gran Meliá Lombok will open in 2024 and shows the commitment of the Spanish hotel group to the luxury market in Southeast Asia.
LOMBOK – Meliá Hotels International wants to bring a touch of Spanish luxury to Indonesia with the opening of Gran Meliá Lombok in 2024. Already one of the hotel group’s most sought-after destinations, the new opening will be the first Gran Meliá hotel on the paradisiacal island of Lombok and the second in Indonesia.
Gran Meliá Lombok will be located on the beautiful Torok Bay in the south of the island, surrounded by green hills and a beach with crystal clear water. The perfect destination to switch off and enjoy a relaxed approach to life.
The hotel will feature 22 luxury beachfront villas and another 105 hillside villas, all with private infinity pools and breathtaking ocean views. Special attention is paid to the architectural design, using natural elements that represent the essence of the destination. The hotel blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings so that guests can be fully immersed in paradise. Gran Meliá Lombok, owned by Invest Islands, an award-winning Lombok-based real estate development company, will become Meliá Hotels International’s 12th hotel in Indonesia, with eight currently operational and another four (including Gran Meliá Lombok) to be opened .
