Later this month, Redmi, a smartphone maker under the Xiaomi banner, will launch its new device in the Indian market. Yes indeed! The device in question is the Redmi Note 11T and it will hit the market on November 30, 2021.
The latest tweet from the Redmi India account on Twitter confirms that the Redmi Note 11T has interesting charging functions. In addition, the Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain, hinted at the chipset that will be the brains of the Note 11T.
The Redmi Note 11T is sure to have 33W fast charging support. This is of course a huge improvement when you consider that its predecessor, the Redmi Note 10T 5G, only supports 18W charging. Meanwhile, Jain claims that the Note 11T will be the first Redmi smartphone with a 6nm chipset.
Given that the Redmi Note 11T could be a renamed version of the Redmi Note 11 5G, which was already released in China, it will likely include the Dimensity 810 6nm chipset. With this chipset, the Note 11T can compete with the Realme 8s, which has the same chipset.
While not officially launched, the leak is no less interesting for us to know that the Redmi Note 11T comes with a 6.6-inch 90 Hz FHD + IPS LCD screen. In addition, this smartphone will also have a 16 MP front camera and a 50 MP + 8 MP dual camera setup on the rear.
The handset with Dimensity 810 comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal UFS 2.2 storage. For power supply, the Redmi Note 11T comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that has 33 W fast charging support.
Other features of this smartphone include MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 and a fingerprint scanner installed by Redmi on the side of the device. Unfortunately there is no price information for the device yet. However, it will likely cost under Rs.20,000 (Rs.3.8 million).
It is expected to be available in different flavors such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage, and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage. Will this smartphone be marketed outside of India? This was not confirmed by Redmi either.
