On November 5th, TikToker Caroline Walker teased a story: she just posted a video of her face with the caption, “The day I found out my ex-roommate / Sorority Little was arrested for the murder of a Wh * te Supr3macist . ”

That TikTok has more than 3 million views.

Of course, the comments lit up with people urging them to eat: “Girls, we missed a few chapters of history, please,” said one commentator. In a follow-up video on the same day, Walker signed up, reporting that she found out in 2018 that her former roommate and sorority sister, Emily killed a man in a traffic accident under the influence of alcohol and was charged with murder.

This man happened to be Robert Ransdell, a 2014 enrollment candidate for the Kentucky Senate, the advertised on the anti-Semitic slogan “With Jews we lose” and coordinated the Cincinnati chapter of National Alliance, a neo-Nazi organization.

A AP February 2020 report details that the woman, Emily Sherry, pleaded guilty to lesser charges of first degree manslaughter and was sentenced to 17 and a half years in prison at the Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women. The report said her blood alcohol level was 0.422, more than five times the legal limit. Ransdell died on the scene.

While this is a terrible story, commentators on Walker’s story were split: “Your divine forces of chaos,” said one. “It’s never okay to be drunk driving. Like it’s so solid that she killed a white racist, but drunk driving is not okay at all, ”said another.

Also, some people wanted to come back to an earlier detail in which Emily almost killed their cat, which she did explained. Walker went to Bonnaroo for a week and asked Emily to feed her cat. When she returned, her cat had been torn into a bag of food as it had not actually been fed by her former roommate.

We asked Walker for a comment.
